Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Elephant Kingdom with Impala Explorer

Your Impala Explorer journey begins early in the morning from Arusha as you drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its towering baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Enjoy a full-day game drive with opportunities to see lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, and more than 500 bird species. Break for a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon safari. In the evening, drive to your lodge near Ngorongoro for an overnight stay, ready for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha – Big Five Safari with Impala Explorer

After an early breakfast, Impala Explorer will take you to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often called “Africa’s Eden.” Descend 600 meters to the crater floor for a half-day game drive, where you can spot the Big Five — including the rare black rhino — along with wildebeest, zebras, hippos, and flamingos on the crater lake. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before driving back to Arusha, marking the end of your 2-day safari.
