Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Transfer to Moshi

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your Impala Explorer driver will meet and escort you to your hotel in Moshi town. After hotel check-in, you'll be briefed about your upcoming trek and your Kilimanjaro mountain guide will inspect your gear. Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool or exploring Moshi.

Day 2: Rongai Gate (1950m) to 1st Caves Camp (2600m)

After breakfast, we drive to Nalemoru Gate where the climb begins. Trek through lush rainforest, keeping an eye out for wildlife such as Colobus monkeys. Enjoy lunch en route before reaching First Caves Camp. Tents, dinner, and warm hospitality await you at the campsite.

Day 3: 1st Caves Camp (2600m) to Kikelewa Camp (3600m)

Hike through heather and moorland with views of Kilimanjaro’s slopes. Stop at Second Cave (3450m) for a break before continuing to Kikelewa Cave Camp. Experience colder temperatures as the altitude increases.

Day 4: Kikelewa Camp (3600m) to Mawenzi Tarn Camp (4330m)

Day 5: Mawenzi Tarn (4330m) to Kibo Hut (4700m)

Day 6: Summit to Uhuru Peak (5895m) and Descend to Horombo Hut (3720m)

Begin your summit attempt at midnight under the stars. Trek to Stella Point (5685m), then on to Uhuru Peak (5895m), the roof of Africa! Capture your once-in-a-lifetime moment at the summit before descending back to Barafu for lunch, and continuing down to Mweka Camp for the night.

Elevation: 4550m → 5895m → 3100m

Day 7: Horombo Hut (3720m) to Marangu Gate (1980m) – Back to Moshi

Enjoy a celebratory breakfast followed by a joyful farewell dance with your crew. Descend through lush forest to Marangu Gate, where you'll receive your official climbing certificate — Green for Gilman’s Point, Gold for Uhuru Peak. Return to Moshi for a hot shower and well-deserved rest.
